印度央行總裁閃辭 盧比重貶
印度央行總裁 Urjit Patel 日前以「個人因素」為由，宣布辭職，印度盧比問訊重貶，一度逼近 1 個月新低。
台北時間週二 (11 日) 下午 5 點 23 分，Investing.com 報價顯示，印度盧比下跌 0.90%，至 71.815 兌 1 美元。
Urjit Patel 的離職，被視為印度政府與央行之間嚴重對立的結果；據傳政府對外匯存底使用、貨幣政策方向頻頻施壓，導致 Patel 萌生退意。
Patel 週一透過聲明表示，基於「個人因素」，決定辭去央行總裁職務，對於過去這段時間，能在印度央行服務，他深感榮幸。
印度經濟專家認為，Patel 的離職，反映了印度政府扼殺央行獨立性的問題，恐引發該國政治、經濟領域危機。
當地媒體報導稱，莫迪政府曾多次試圖影響央行決策，希望鬆綁銀行監管、放寬資本規範，藉以刺激經濟成長。
雖然印度央行曾召開會議，表達對政府讓步的態度，但政府干預決策的情形，並未因此改變。
